of evidence-based inclusive teaching practice behind every session
At Diverse Thinkers, every session is built on the understanding that how a student feels in the room shapes what they can learn. Structure and empathy aren't opposites — they work together.
One-on-one sessions tailored to your student's stage, pace and learning profile.
Primary School
Years 3–6
Building strong foundations in reading, writing and comprehension. Sessions focus on developing vocabulary, sentence structure and a love of language.
Secondary School
Years 7–10
Developing essay skills, analytical thinking and confidence. Sessions help students understand texts, structure arguments and write with clarity.
VCE English
Years 11–12
Targeted VCE English support across text response, language analysis and creative writing. Sessions are exam-aware and skills-focused.
01
Every session starts with a brief check-in. Stephanie takes a moment to understand how the student is feeling and what they need that day.
02
The core of the session is structured, scaffolded work on the student's current English task — reading, writing, analysis or exam preparation.
03
Students leave with curated resources tailored to their learning profile — not generic worksheets, but materials chosen for how they think.
04
Stephanie provides written feedback on practice work between sessions, so progress continues beyond the hour.
